Whether drumming for unhinged blues trio @tijuanahercules or sculpting layered, trippy rockesque soundscapes in his solo project Job 6 Pac, Joe Patt brings a loose, off-kilter energy that’s evolved over a career that began in Cincinnati and the 1990s Columbus OH scene. His resume includes trash rockers Them Wranch, The Hairy Patt Band, Royal Pines and even a brief stint drumming for Country Teasers. And he’s having a moment this year — new albums by Tijuana Hercules (Pulp Tuxedo on @batirrecords ) and Job 6 Pac (Lo and Behold), plus a newly released Them Wranch single on @goodtimesrnr that unearths a vintage live performance. I’ll talk to Joe about his roots in the Ohio scene through his latest mind-altering work.
